On Sunday 12th July, 2015 Shaun Emson, our Area Operations Manager organised a motorcycle ride in memory of his dear Dad, Alan Emson, who lost his short battle to cancer in June 2014. Alan was also a long term employee of Frimstone and during his time with the company provided over 30 years’ service.

 Shaun commented:

'Whilst in hospital Dad received the best care myself and my family could ever have wished for from the John Farman intensive care unit in Addenbrookes. The doctors and nurses work tirelessly to give the patients the intensive care they desperately need. My family and I are so grateful and believe the last year we had with Dad was down to the care he received from this unit. All proceeds from this event will be donated to this ward.'

As you can see from the photographs there was fantastic support at the event for such a worthy cause. Incredibly they raised over £1700. So it’s a well done to Shaun and his family for all their hard work ensuring the day went well and to the supporters for making the event such a successful one.

 What a turnout!
