Frimstone have received delivery of the third CAT 962M Loading shovel this year completing additions to their front line machines into their Quarries.

This demonstrates the commitment to efficiency within the quarry operations that creates value and further efficiencies.

This investment of £500,000 underpins the business development now that we are in the post recessionary environment.

The deal was negotiated by Shaun Emson, Operations Manager and allowed Frimstone to commit to CAT. The other two machines are at Watlington and Snettisham Quarries where the sites are benefitting from fuel savings of 25% delivered by their new C7 engine (euro VI) using a new 5 speed transmission capable of speeds of 25 miles per hour.
