Frimstone Ltd have donated a trophy to the Business Department of Downham Market Academy 6th form, for Personal Development in Year 12.


An awards dinner was held recently at Arbuckles Restaurant attended by 69 students & staff. The Trophy was presented to Beth Turner, who was a really worthy recipient, studying  for a Level 3 OCR Cambridge  Technical Diploma in Business (equivalent to two A levels and Level 3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism (equivalent to one A level).


Beth has made significant progress this year with the quality and the organisation of her work as well as her time management skills. In addition Beth has become more self confident and contributes well to class discussions. She has been an active member of the BLT Dinner committee taking on responsibility for producing the invitations and programme for the event.  Beth has a warm and friendly personality, she is always willing to help staff and students and is a much valued member of her department.
